Advanced Sea Kayak Club news letters (aka ASKC) written by John Ramwell 1977 – 1994
On the 18th February 1977 John Ramwell created a news letter for Sea Kayaker’s, This would be know as ‘Advanced Sea Kayak Club’ AKA ‘ASKC’ for the next 18 years. Initially starting as 1 page document and gradually increasing to approximately 22 A4 pages over the following years, the limiting factors being copying and postage costs (22 pages fitting neatly into an A4 envelope)
The news letter would run until 1994 where it would be superseded by the highly acclaimed ‘International Sea Kayak Association’ news letter AKA ‘ISKA’ also run by John Ramwell
